Summary
This was getting out of hand.
That is the first thought Ramsay has when he’s woken for the fifteenth time that week by the incessant noise emanating from the crate at the foot of his bed. A high, squealing squeaker of a dog toy, peppered with the sound of small play growls.
Squeak…
Squeak squeak!
Squeak…
….Squeeeeeak.
That damn toy. He had given it to Theon for being such a good boy, and he had admittedly looked cute tossing it in the air and gnawing on it in his little dog bed, nose scrunched as he shook it, tail wagging in the air excitedly. It had made him so happy, and when he was happy, even Ramsay could admit that he looked rather adorable.
But now was time for sleep. And the inconsiderate racket was getting on… his… last… nerve.
“Pet,” Ramsay growled, low and dangerous as thunderclouds. “Enough.”
One final squeak sounded from the crate as if his pet had swallowed around the toy.

“Does being around children for the entire day make you want to read shit that they couldn’t touch with a ten foot pole?”
Robb can’t help it – he laughs at that, and doesn’t even bother to keep it down.
“Maybe that’s part of it,” he admits, and then Theon excuses himself because he’s seeing a regular driving his way and Robb gets into the house and up the stairs and wondering if he could get away with asking the guy out for coffee without looking like he has the wrong intentions.
Whichever wrong intentions can someone have in this situation, but he’s plenty sure that if you’re doing sex work for a living and trying to get through university at the same time you probably aren’t interested in relationships, and Robb is definitely not ever going to pay someone he wants to sleep with for that – the last thing he’d want would be for Theon to think that it was headed there all along.
He’s never going to tell anyone he’s related to that he might be in the process of maybe falling for the hooker working on the corner next to his house.
