The High Council calls for order in a Functionalist society. The Decepticons call for freedom, to rip at the chains binding them. And caught between them is Optimus Prime, burdened with the Matrix of Leadership and the fate of Cybertron itself.
His commands are flawless, strategies unmatched by all but Megatron, his former friend. But as the war progresses, doubt spreads among his Autobots, and even to the Decepticons. Not of his leadership, but of the cause he serves.
For if Optimus Prime is the greatest of them, why does he seem so certain of the Council’s will?

Before his bond with his brother broke.Sam is unfortunately along for the ride. The Allspark is a smug semi-sentient artifact that fuck up his life again and again and now it has decided the Sam would do very well on Cybertron... as a Cybertronian... as a sparkling.

Summary
Dammit, Optimus was already appealing enough with his protective nature, soft blue eyes, and broad frame that was perfect for cuddling, but put a sparkling with him and all those attributes amplified and it was so unfair! How could Primus allow such an impossible mech to actually exist?
Or, Optimus is a good sire and Megatron has certain thoughts about that.

Ever since Predaking showed his new-found ability to transform problems have been arising in the Nemesis. Megatron for his part doesn't understand why this is happening and is frankly irritated and tired. He is also actively ignoring what is happening to his own frame and refuses to get it check out, which will quite literally bite him in the aft.

"Satisfy, mm? That's a strong word" Megatron muttered with a teasing tone. His clawed hands traveled towards Prime's jaw.
"Perhaps a poor choice of words on my end. Maybe satiate?" Optimus hummed.
