When Klavier moves into his new apartment, he starts to hear someone singing, from the apartment building across from him. This man would sing every night, playing his violin as he sang.
The man from the apartment building across his would sing the same song, the same song of an unrequited love, in the same passionate soft way, as though he related deeply to the song. Whenever the man would sing, Klavier would drop everything he was doing, go to the balcony, and just…listen to him sing. He would listen to the way the man would passionately sing, sing not for an audience but for…himself, and the emotions that he felt.
And one day, Klavier decides to join him, for he too…had an unrequited love.
