🌸 the attention to detail of the surrounding setting immersed me greatly, after a while of not being able to lock in onto a fic over 3k words ough this was sooo good
🌺 the dynamic of the main duo is silly, my heart ached at each moment of either of them getting to enjoy something new because of each other
🌷 bonus points for ryoshu weaponsmith and her apprentice, the scene of sinclair failing to haggle with heathcliff was so wbbwbebwbwbwbwbwbwbw

During a routine Mirror Dungeon run, Dante makes a serious mistake that leaves their clock in critical condition and several Sinners in states of death with no avenue for revival.
Faust calls upon Faust to guide her hand when she is left with the duty of putting Dante back together; despite them still being awake for every moment of the operation. Dante finds themself burdened with complicated feelings regarding the intimacy inherent in brain surgery.

🌷dante is written like the true dork they are and faust tries her best not to show how worried she is (waiter waiter! more mutual dehumanization please!!!)
🌺 i LOVE faust's descriptions of dante's insides, read at 6 am right as i woke up and could imagine everything, ate it all up
🌸 the sinners' writing is also really nice, joy was felt at the feel of the author's respect and love for each character involvedpm should absolutely crack dante's head open one day

With Operation: Spider Pyre coming to a close Dante can’t help but think about everything that went wrong after discovering the ambush. Mistakes and unnecessary sacrifices were made due to their inadequate ability to lead and make the right call.
But, with enough luck, they run into the guy they’re trying to avoid and he tries to help them feel better about the fact they have inadvertently lead his subordinate to die.
