It's not that he’s against fucking Zhongli. But he isn’t prepared for this. Not today. Today is supposed to be a nice, simple bit of hands-on fun. A warmup round, to show Zhongli how he can please, how he can satisfy. So that even if Zhongli is disappointed later, he has evidence on his side.
But Zhongli wants to fuck. And that means clothes off, eyes upon his body, everything unveiled for Zhongli to see, to scrutinise. He wants to, gods he wants to, but the thought of it roots him to the spot, his hands glued to his thighs and his mouth dry.
“Childe? Is everything alright?” Zhongli comes to sit beside him, kind, concerned eyes locking with his own. “You look as though you’re having second thoughts. If that is so, there is no pressure—”
“I want to, I do. Ha, any man would be a fool not to, with you.”
“Then there is another matter on your mind.”
“You could say that.”
After reconciling post-Osial, Zhongli and Childe return to Zhongli's home, where things quickly heat up. However, when it becomes clear that Zhongli would like to take their relationship a step further, Childe must find the strength to push through his own lingering fears.
