A boy named Jacob went into intensive surgery in the year(s) 20XX after suffering abnormal mental and physical health symptoms, eventually being declared dead to the world
Fortunately, that was a lie (obviously lol) and it turns out a shadowy government organization wants to conduct extensive research on the supposed "tumor" in his brain.
That was one thousand years ago.
Now Jacob is stranded on the broken corpse of Copper-9, a planet that housed the facility he had been in until it had cracked open like an egg. After being woken up (again) from deep hibernation by a pair of emotionally driven, partially insane, idiotic automated killer machines who had (allegedly) been sent to the planet to wipe out the remaining robots that had survived the initial blast and subsequent fallout (and encountering technological horrors that defy all known laws of physics), he knows only one thing.
He is well and truly screwed.
