Alto Mare. There's a massive tidal wave coming to wreck the city, but Latios is too weak to survive the attack to stop it. Ash tries to stop him from going, but ends up dying himself. Thankfully, in typical Ash fashion, he gets brought back, but there may have been a few errors in the revival process.

Summary
Pikachu saved the world by stealing Cyrus' victory, but he doesn't want to be a god, he just wants to return to his best friend. In relinquishing the power back to the Pokemon of Myth, Pikachu is forced to start over from the day he met Ash, but things are very different. In this new world Pokemon and Humans live as equals and Ash is a Riolu, but still has his dream of being a Pokemon Master. Pikachu starts the journey over where he and Ash can speak and fight together and has to wonder: what else has this changed about the world of Pokemon?
