Summary
Reaching her hand up in the air, she caught the flashdrive Cass threw. “Thank you.” Babs smiled and got to work. Nearby, Cass sat down at a chair and watched Barbara work. Just as she began opening the spreadsheet, Barbara looked back. “I’m a bit hungry.” Cass said with a bored looking expression on her face.
Moving her wheelchair back away from the screens, she grabbed an empty cup. “I’ll go to the bathroom, then I’ll get something for both of us.” After she left, Cass made her way to the computer.
Cass knew that something was wrong and Barbara kept pretending that everything was fine. Around others, she was acting normal, it was just with Cass that she kept acting differently. In the computer, Cass searched for something that might be related to her. She ends up coming across a special type of report. Death of D. Cain, it read and Cass suddenly gasped at the name.

Summary
Alfred appeared beside his chair, carrying a tray with coffee, a sandwich and a bottle of wine, he spoke after Bruce refused to take his gaze away from the computer. “Do not tell me that you have forgotten sir.”
Bruce stopped and looked at Alfred. He searched within his mind for anything of note this day, but he failed to remember. “Forgotten what?”
The butler raised an eyebrow as he put the bottle of wine in Bruce’s hands. “Today, mister Gordon celebrates 20 years with the GCPD, sir. It would be appropriate for you to give your congratulations.”
Bruce mumbled. “I’ll send him a letter.” Alfred stiffened and took a harsh tone to Bruce’s response. “Oh, no, no, no young sir. You have moped long enough. It would be very good for you to see a friend in person.”
Shocked at the outburst, Bruce frowned. “I can’t, Alfred. The Joker’s running around somewhere and I can’t predict what he’s about to do.” He slammed one of his hands against the table, nearly dropping the bottle held on the other. “I can’t let him walk free after killing my son.”

Summary
In the elevator. Tim stayed quiet while, no doubt, being evaluated by Alfred. This was the most delicate moment. It would either make or break his case. He only hoped that at least he would be given the time of day and not unceremoniously kicked out of the building.
“Stay here while I fetch a towel.” Alfred said while going further into the apartment.
Tim carefully unraveled the paper. The photos of the fossil stood side by side with the photos of a Batarang.
“Here you go. What was it that you wanted to show me?” Alfred looked at Tim after handing him a towel. “In the newspaper, was it?”
Tim carefully picked up the photos to show them. “Mr. Pennyworth. I need you to understand that I don’t bring this up intending to hurt you, but this discovery has unnerved me to the point of losing sleep.”
A carefully constructed neutral expression stayed on the old man’s face.
Tim gulped. “My parents. They’re archeologists and they brought a particularly odd object back home. They couldn’t identify it, but I did.”

Summary
An alert rang out and took Dick’s attention while he drove the Batmobile.
Entrance detected.
Suddenly, all of his composure left, his thoughts vacated his mind and he found himself turning back. He was interrupted by Oracle on his comm.
“Dick, there-”
“No time, Babs!”
He took out his comm, though his ears were filling with static. What even was going on? Would he allow himself to hope? Tim?
The fastest he had ever driven, the Batmobile arrived in the cave. He sprang to his feet and saw him.
Tim.
So many things had gone through Dick’s mind at that moment. He couldn’t find the words to speak despite how often he would dream of his baby bird’s return.
He approached the boy in dark clothing as he turned his face away from the med bay.
“Dick.”
With all the levity in the world Dick’s brother spoke and smiled.
