Seb, the famed magic-less human and prefect of the now no longer abandoned Ramshackle dorm came up with an idea one day. As the "beast tamer" of NRC, he's expected to bring the typically selfish students together for better or for worse. On a whim, he presented an idea to Headmage Crowley, who, much to the prefect's surprise, was all for the idea.
So now the main cast, from freshmen to juniors, are to spend 100 days away together in a retreat as a "bonding experience". Whether they like it or not, they're going to have to put up with it.
