We pulled away and he sat up. We were both breathing hard. I propped myself up on my elbows to get a better look at him. His head was right in front of the moon, casting a cool glow around his silhouette. It almost looked like a halo, and the shadow of his figure cast darkness over my body.

Donghyuck stares up at the ceiling of the hospital. The insistent sound of the monitor reminding him that he failed, that he was alive, that life won. Bandages were around his one wrist, the only wrist he dug into before his boyfriend saved him. His boyfriend, currently passed out in an awkward position in the seat next to the hospital bed. It was past three in the morning, Yangyang hadn't left his side since he found him. They were holding hands, Yangyang's arm is still stretched out but his hand is limp in the air just far enough away where Donghyuck can't grab it.
Donghyuck looks at his boyfriend, the shaggy brown hair with awful blond streaks Donghyuck did when Yangyang lost a bet. Donghyuck smiles a little, remembering that day.
***"Have you even bleached hair before?" Yangyang asks as Donghyuck sits him down on the toilet lid.
"I did Jaemin's hair!" Donghyuck says.
"No, Renjun did." Yangyang snorts.
"I helped," Donghyuck pouts, "And you lost the bet so you got to do this anyways."
