Author's Note: Let's be real for a second: the canon books absolutely robbed us. We had a two-week gap where Annabeth genuinely believed Percy was dead, and we barely got to see the fallout! This is the angst, the grief, and the emotional turmoil that we deserved to see in Battle of the Labyrinth but were denied. I had to write it myself just to fix the timeline. Enjoy the pain!

(Sylvie accidentally sends Loki back to his nexus event during the aftermath of the Battle of New York, instead of sending him to the TVA, and concocts a scheme to rescue him from his cell in Asgard. This plan will inevitably force them to confront their issues with trust, their shared and disparate pasts, and their feelings for each other.)

At some point she’ll probably want to assure him that it’s fine, it’s not like she had better plans for the rest of the summer and also she’s sort of a complete sucker for Peter Parker and honestly is maybe a little too down to follow him anywhere he’s heading, but that’s another thing like the bag that might lead to a conversation and well… she’s not a fan of conversations.
