Chrissy cut him off, with a laugh, as she said "Corroded Coffin! Ugh, how could I have forgotten Corroded Coffin?!"
"You do remember!" He exclaimed, with a triumphant grin.
"Your band was called Corroded Coffin! How could I have forgotten, with a name like that?!" She giggled.
That had been the highlight of the whole day, because after the Corroded Coffin performance, her mother dragged her out of the auditorium to protect her from devil-worshipping music, but also mostly because she'd stumbled a little during her routine.
"Still is, actually," Eddie murmured, drawing her out of her thoughts. "Corroded Coffin is goin' strong. You should come to one of our shows," He looked conflicted as soon as he said it, watching Chrissy's smile fade, but attempted to regain some of his cheer. "Or don't, even without you, we'd still draw a massive crowd of, like, five drunk people,"
Chrissy tried to smile again, but as she did so, her face twisted up, tears springing to her eyes.
