Summary
Stiles is pretty sure that soulmates aren't a real thing. Sue him, he's a romantic. Which means that he doesn't believe that love is predetermined by the stars, or the fates, or any bullshit like that. There's no way a magic spell exists that can order up love like it's a large pepperoni with extra mushrooms. Stiles thinks - no, he knows - that love is decision you make. One that you keep making, every day.
And even if soulmates were a real thing, he definitely wouldn't be Derek Hale's.
But on the off chance Derek does have a soulmate - someone out there who could finally make him happy in the way he deserves to be happy - Stiles might as well try the stupid spell. He's going to find whoever that is if it kills him.

After making several mistakes in a row, Stiles finds himself stuck in a haunted manor in the middle of a cursed wood, and faced with a terrifying, monstrous Beast demanding custody of some unlucky (and possibly beloved) scapegoat in exchange for Stiles' freedom.
(But the Beast never said that Stiles couldn't visit.)

Peter never meant to fall in love with Stiles Stilinski. It’s not like he’d had a thing for him when he was an annoying brat, giggling along with Peter’s equally annoying niece, playing stupid pranks on Peter and vomiting all over the $400 dollar Edelson bath rug Peter had spent three days picking out.
One day he was a skinny twerp leaking magic everywhere and teasing Peter with quotes out of the Southern Vampire series (that Peter had a no-longer-so-secret addiction to) and the next day he was back from university, having business meetings with Talia, smelling like sun-warmed tomato leaves with an undercurrent of magic, just a tiny bit taller than Peter, with wide shoulders and warm eyes and a cocky grin.
What was a wolf to do?

Summary
Stiles makes the mistake of taking Derek’s sword and now the grumpy werewolf seems determined to stop him from stealing and landing himself in jail.
Stiles is not pleased. He’s also starving.
(Or the one in which Derek has good intentions, but little understanding of how Dragon biology works. He just wants the cute mole-speckled kid to be safe).
-----“Five meals, Scott. Derek Hale has stopped me from eating five meals. I can’t believe he’s really trying to kill me over stealing his sword. That’s so petty of him. It isn’t like I meant to steal it,” Stiles complains.
“You kind of did mean to, dude,” Scott adds unhelpfully.
“But you don’t understand, Scott. It-”
“Just smelled so good? I know, you’ve said that like fifty times over the past two weeks,” Scott says.
“This is the equivalent of him stealing my lunch money, right? Thanks to him, I didn’t have a meal this week. Or last week! He’s a bully, is what he is. A nice smelling, douchebag of a bully.”

“Noooo,” Stiles groans in frustration, “but it isn’t fair because you’re not that guy, you’re not an asshole and you give cats punny names so they have a better chance at being adopted.”
“Who told you I named the cats?” Derek asks, his brows scrunching together in confusion.
“Scott,” Stiles smirks. “My favorite so far was Purrsephone.”
(Or the one in which Derek and Stiles both volunteer at an animal shelter, Derek works with cats and gives them punny names, Stiles works with the dogs, and misunderstandings ensue).
