What if James didn’t understand why Regulus was so special until he finally realized?Regulus gets sorted into Ravenclaw and lives up to the reputation of his house. Being a genius and craving connections, he makes friends along the way and tries to help everyone. Only James Potter seems to be hesitant around him, at least at first. Regulus’ relationship with Sirius is the most important one in his life. Not even a certain Gryffindor with golden glasses is able to change that, or is he?

Regulus Black & The Marauders
A Marauders fame/Daisy Jones & The Six AULet it be known that this was my original idea, but that all characters belong to J* R*****g. Some of the dialogue used, as well as all of the album, song titles, and lyrics will be from Daisy Jones & The Six, therefore belonging to the lovely Taylor Jenkins Reid. This fanfiction will include mentions of alcohol and drug use by both adults and minors, abusive parents, sex, violence, and vulgar language. Ships included in this fanfiction consist of Regulus Black/James Potter, Sirius Black/Remus Lupin, James Potter/Lily Evans, Barty Crouch Jr./Evan Rosier, and a few other minor ones. I also feel like it’s important to note (because I’m always terrified people won’t read things the way I wrote them) that the interviews in this are being held at different places during different times- Like in the TV adaptation of Daisy Jones & The Six. With that being said, I hope you enjoy this!

Will breathed in a ragged breath. Black smoke poured from his mouth as he tore himself free from the wall. He collapsed forward, coughing and gasping on the cold, moist floor.
His heart pounded in his ears as he shakily scrambled to his feet. Eyes darting around the abyss, he started to run. And he ran, and ran, and ran.
His feet pounded on the ground when suddenly he found himself on a familiar path. Finally, something familiar. Will sprinted through the woods, as a feeling of hope filtered its way through the panic. He was getting there, he was gonna be safe, it was finally within reach.

The pain in his chest and legs screamed at him to rest, but he couldn't risk stopping. He pushed himself further, calves aching with each step. Suddenly, a loud screech echoed through the air from somewhere up ahead.
