“I never denied or confirm” Thragg said looking back at mark, moving before mark’s eye could comprehend to see thragg standing in front of him, thragg huge hand wrap around mark’s throat lifting him up as mark tried to dig his nails in thragg arms but it didn’t do anything but make thragg grip grow tighter almost chocking mark out, as marks feet kicked from under him trying to knee thragg but again it didn’t do anything thragg just looked at mark irritated and annoyed like a little pest that thragg couldn’t swat or a pet that was put out on the street but always found its way back to the owner leaning close to my neck a breath, ghosting my neck making me shiver as thragg lean in to breath in heavily near the red raw splotch of skin a whimper escapes me, my brain going fuzzy for some reason body going limp, a low growl erupting from thragg throat “It’s already happening, Mark make a choice” Thragg smashed his head against mine air shockwaves erupt from the force, Then everything went dark.

Langdon wasn’t the best guy much less husband as after the whole mess of the Pittfest shootings Robby wouldn’t let Langdon come back unless he got clean and did a fellowship Langdon did it because he couldn’t go home fired so he made an excuse to Abby which Abby found out pretty quickly as Abby immedilty left to stay at a motel with tanner for a few weeks as Langdon broke down pretty quickly no one visited him during that time not even Robby, Langdon didn’t even tell his parents because of the guilt and embarrassment but once Langdon got out Abby immediately served him divorced papers which was no surprises there but Langdon felt better because Langdon was going back to work and be a new man, was going to be a more present father for Tanner, Was going to get to know Whitaker, Going to be a better mentor to Mel a new resident that Langdon gotten close with, Was going to gain or try to gain that trust back, everything was going to be okay.... until the world came to a still.

What is a monster?
Avid didn't know who he was. They tell him he believed in vampires, would shout it from the rooftops when he could, but he doesn't remember that. He can't remember anything, and this person they're describing, he isn't sure he likes it. Still, with chronic pain from a wound in his neck and the growing threat of vampires - who are apparently real, by the way - he'll need to figure out where he stands, so that maybe, hopefully, he can make it out of this alive.

'They say every 200 years there's a massacre'.
Did their time in Oakhurst count as a massacre? The body count was pathetic, really, compared to the numbers he alone had caused in the past. But maybe it wasn't the number that had mattered. The percentage, perhaps. So few had died, but so few had been there to die in the first place. It was too vague. Too uncertain. And Scott was thinking about it again when he had promised himself he was not going to.

Its 2025, and 200 years have passed since Scott, Shelby and Drift walked out of Oakhurst. They've been going back every year to visit since, so it shouldn't be any different this time. If they ignore the curse, that is. Which was Scott's plan, until Abolish reveals he's still alive and is going to be going with them to Oakhurst this time. And when they get there, Cleo and Pearl have bad news. It seems danger is still coming for Oakhurst. And it's wearing a friend's face.
