"Link..."
He shifted slightly, feeling that voice in his mind.
"Link." The voice stressed, a tone of exhaustion under it.
He woke, immediately pulling himself upward while his hands moved to his back, a reflex. There was nothing there, though.
"Link. You must free me." The voice said again.
Link turned his head, trying to find the source of the voice.
"You will grow strong, and have the power needed for your task." The voice continued.
"Please... help me."
The ground shook, as the knight rose again.---
I don't own the Legend of Zelda.
I was heavily, HEAVILY inspired by Luminous, by Sokkas_First_Fangirl to make this. I think they changed my entire writing style, to be honest. Go check that story out as well. Some elements of this story are taken from theirs.Series

What to do in Harry Potter as a chaotically neutral side character (I lied, I'm more relevant than that) by Stellaris2

Dying isn't fun.
It's especially not fun if you don't actually die.
But it could be a better situation if you end up somewhere else.
Somewhere with magic, Dark Lords, children with bolt-shaped scars...
And yet still no electricity.
Forget making waves, I'm going to make a tsunami.
---
Self-insert into Harry Potter universe after thinking of all the stupid decisions made in the series. Now, I'm not a good person or anything, but I kind of liked Fred- or George, I forgot who died. Also Voldemort is bald and noseless, and I absolutely bully the hell out of him for it. Nobody can be more insane than me. -

Summary
He didn't know where he was.
He didn't know who he was.
All he knew was the rows of cylinders, propped up at an angle, stretching into the darkness. The dimly-lit room with a large screen on a wall, and a control console sloping around it. And the red lights, softly flashing to indicate the elevator to the surface. The elevator that led out to an abandoned warehouse, that further lead out to a city.
And lastly, the numbers, 343, etched into his skin, right on his wrist. -

Pale gold eyes watch him quietly, but there’s no sneering malice, no delighted calculation. If anything, he looks… tired. Preoccupied. As if Jango is more of a trial to pass than a helpless prisoner to toy with.

When Obi-Wan searches his room for his homework (for Improvised Medical Analytics II, an obscure engineering elective reserved for fanatical mechanics or Senior Padawans running out of class options, scrambling for some semblance of progress), he finds a baby.

Choice.
Cal chokes, a breathless laugh. “You want me to join you? Me?”
The Inquisitor doesn’t seem to find it as funny as Cal does. “And why is that so unbelievable, young one? Your hate is impressive. Your fear already rules you. You are one of us already, even if you don’t accept it yet.”
“Black isn’t really my colour.”
(Or: The Second Sister captures Cal on Bracca, and Cal Kestis cements his place in the history books as the worst Inquisitor to ever do it. He keeps helping the rebels, and befriending droids. It’s embarrassing, really.)

Summary
“Cal has never had the luxury or the security to be anything other than what circumstances forced him to be,” Cere says. Her voice contains a tinge of sorrow, one which Merrin suspects she has failed to recognize in the past. “I don’t think he knows who he is—or who he wants to be—any more than you do, Merrin. He has an idea of who he thinks he should be, one that has guided him for the last decade, but he’s never had a real opportunity to reflect and examine if that’s what he wants for himself.”
Merrin frowns, feeling chastised. Cal has always been so set in his path; she feels foolish for seeing the wounds of his past and mistaking them for an enviable certainty of purpose.
As if reading her mind, Greez laughs a little too loud and says, “Don’t beat yourself up about it, Merrin. He’s got himself fooled too.”
To care for Cal is a privilege.
