Summary
You’re just an average, happy human, going about life, trying to forge your way in the world. Fortunately, you’ve landed a nice job that pays well, you’re steadily and reliably working your way out of the debt you gained from moving to the city, and you found a great apartment (with a chill roommate, Sans, a polite skeleton monster with puns up his sleeve and an indecipherable gaze) for surprisingly little rent.
Everything’s fine.
And then, without warning, two more skeletons seem to show up out of nowhere at your and Sans’s shared apartment. The first to appear is Red, a hot-blooded, sharp-grinned alcoholic who isn’t shy to share his less than savoury intentions with you, with crude gestures and pick-up lines galore.
... And the second is a tall, broad, but quiet skeleton who immediately goes by the pseudonym Skull, sporting a huge crack in his head and a single, engorged red iris, that never seems to stop staring at you.
You’re not sure why both of them won’t leave you alone, or why Sans seems so desperate to stop them from interacting with you... But hey, what harm could come from it?

It's six years after the Emergence, and while most of the monsters decided to stay close to the mountain on the west coast, slowly but surely a good few made it over to the opposite coast and settled down in Washington DC. Besides the King and Queen and their human child - relocated to the political center of the US for obvious reasons, you mostly see dogs, bunnies, and cat monsters integrating themselves among your coworkers and neighbors. Things aren't perfect, but they're improving day by day.
You have a fulfilling job as a PR and Marketing Expert, a handful of close friends, and a stable and predictable routine.
When you randomly meet a brand new type of monster in town while late night shopping, you can't help but be frightened of him. After all- he's literally a living skeleton! Embarrassing, but at least you'll never have to see him again... right?
What happens when fate has other plans, and you just. keep. running into each other?

Embarrassing became friendly ran into him a few more times he thinks we are dating our best friend when we were just getting free drinks comforted him when we saw he got stood up coincidentally when we were at the same restaurant was his lookout for his second date second date turned out to be a fame digger hung out a day later let him vent and played video games till late and found out he could teleport when he went home.

110. We have been running our whole lives from family to family from evil dad and have had to abandon people to keep them safe many times. Old roommates saw our scars and asked to many questions so we dipped and moved in with sans. Skulls got attached to us quick. They all knew an us from their timeline that they dated. We know about timelines and multiverse. Locked away soul from evil dad. Soul is made up of all their Y/Ns who are all dead. Gets unlocked by boys very emotional since we almost died. Told the skulls everything (almost) about evil dad. We are dating all of them. We are infertile. Had a timeline where black got shot and died but we somehow loaded but don’t really remember or realize it was us. Termanily ill and only told Green and PAPY at first but eventually told the rest after we passed out while hiking with edge after paps unknowingly marked us. Everyone is coming to terms with and and focusing on having a good time with what time we got.

All the Skulls came to visit before they applied for job and met us. We think they are all great. We had our magic taken by zoo and regularly get taken to the “cage” which sounds like torture. We have killed 37 people:D

43. Dust is nervous to be dad but we have all bases covered. Aster is learning about human birth. We have 5 magic skeleton body guards. The main lodge is in chaos since their evil Gf is gone and they are all sad and feeling betrayed. Blue went on a walk in the woods and found us. HF!Bros threatened the shit out of him along with Dust. We begged and pleaded with Blue not to tell and told him we are more scared of him and the lodge Skulls than Dust and the HF and HT bros. Mafia Skulls are pissed that blue found us and cuss out the lodge after blue returns and everyone is fussing over him. Time skip a bit like 2 months, 8 months pregnant now everyone we are friends with is helping out a lot since it’s a stressful pregnancy. Accidentally run into mutt but he just feels awkward and congratulates us and leaves, tells his bro but they agree not to tell anyone else about pregnancy. Unfortunately we run into Undyne, Alphys, Toriel, and Frisk who all think Dust is sans and since we are pregnant. Yea. So we get out of that situation quickly but Undyne talks with Papyrus later who learn about the baby and now wants to tell Sans about this whole mess. But he runs into others from the skeleton household, who he slips up and lets them know about what happened, including black, and mutt who then let pap, blue and edge know that they already knew and we’re keeping a secret, and they pointed out the fact that reader was actually never a bad person And they treated them like shit so that explains why they’re so avoidant of all of them and that not telling classic would probably be the best given how crazy he reacted to reader and dust dating. We find out green and G aren’t actual doctors and just scientist who are very well educated in human births. They openly suggest that if we are not comfortable with them to go to a normal doctor, but we refuse baby comes early onGyftmas Eve. Webbed a lot but make it and give birth to daughter. Dust was freaking out the whole time and making death threats but calmed when we woke up. Gyftmas at the lodge red and stretch are sus when mafia bros and med bros don’t show and mutt is acting sus.

48 Sans and papyrus moved in across the hall. Sans is our soulmate. Neither of us know. We partially bond (accidentally) We went to Grillbys and ran into old friend that we didn’t wanna see again and lied saying sans was our BF so we could get out. He took us home AND CONFESSED and we told him about crazy ex and he still wanted to date and we almost kissed but pap and mtt came back so. We told them and they cheered. Later we didn’t want sans to leave and he didn’t wanna leave either so he’s staying for a sleepover. We also kissed his forehead. Next morning went to work with him, he’s got busy so Alphys us to a machine to see our soul trait but the machine wasn’t advanced enough so sans did a check and compared it so a kaleidoscope. Alphys took a picture of us with sans and sent it to the group chat and everyone congratulated us. Hung out with sans while he worked and accidentally gave him a boner when home moaned after stretching. He felt bad but we reassured him we weren’t grossed out. Going to a house party at Toriels house to celebrate relationship later thanks to undyne. After the party go back to apartment with Sans and he tells us about resets we end up having a bit of an emotional talk and end up very close at the end and almost kiss, but get interrupted by papyrus, but sans ends up, kissing us anyways.

11. We are a hybrid but are keeping that a secret and hiding our physical traits with a ring. Know sans and paps are our soulmate but gotta pretend we don’t since humans can’t know that. HTbros are there also. Got an explanation about the machine. Lost our job so we can’t pay for rent. Paps and H!Bros found out so now live with them. But Our heat is next month and we seem to haven forgotten about that. Also sans fucked up and we got swap bros. Went shopping but left ring on for too long so we got tired and fell asleep in paps arms while he carries us home.
