She finally finds her words, and it is as if she had emerged from the sea, greedily taking in all the air that seemed to have been stolen from her lungs in half-conscious pants. Across her. sitting in the still grass of Windrise, Venti looks back solemnly. As if he had been waiting for her to finally come around. As if he had been waiting for this very moment as much as she had.
She can reach him. Her words can reach him. She speaks with full confidence for the first time, finding rest in the fact that the wind heeds her. “And I’m scared that you’ll steal my job from under my nose even when I’m still alive.”

When Inazuma opened its borders, Xingqiu is whisked away to Inazuma City for a book signing where he sees the mermaid from his past waiting for his signature.

Hu Tao loves discovering anything unknown. She would go to great lengths in satiating her curiosity and most of the time, it gets her in very unfortunate situations. Lucky for her, she didn’t have to make a lot of effort for this one.
