Summary
As Cybertron rebuilds after its civil war, Ratchet feels like he's losing his touch. But what does it matter when his friends are moving on, his planet is healing, and Optimus is there to keep Chancellor Starscream from violating too many of their people's civil rights. At the end of the day, everything is fine.
Until a mech from Ratchet's past comes to him with a dire warning: Optimus is going to die, and only the two of them can stop it.

Soundwave tries to quell rumors of him dating Starscream by publically rejecting the SIC. Starscream tries to prove how great he is to Soundwave, since NO ONE can reject Starscream (even if he has no idea what any of this is about). Soundwave believes that Starscream is up to no good, and tries to throw Starscream off guard with reccomendations from his cassettes.

TLDR; Starscream is used as the experiment dummy instead of Cliffjumper, as that raggedy mech got away! But hey, the seeker makes for a really good Second in Command when you can bend him to your every will.

Mixmaster and Scrapper had not been informed of Starscream’s arrival. Megatron must not have thought it important. He just turned up one cycle, all tall and slender and looking like a million cyber-bucks.
They weren’t strangers to beautiful machinery, but they’d only ever seen jets way up in the sky, little specks gliding through the clouds. Never up close like this, all sharp edges and tiny waists. He put the little automobiles they would chase out on the streets to shame.

Summary
Instead of Starscream being the well-known and feared Second-In-Command of the Decepticons, he’s practically an urban legend among Autobots and Decepticons alike, only known through vague prisoner-of-war stories and scattered attributions of battle plans and weapon designs. Most mecha are of the opinion that this “Starscream” is a mere myth to make Megatron look more menacing, and others (notably the Autobot spec-ops) often make jokes about ‘Spooky Screamer’ whenever a particularly strange case pops up.
This changes when Jazz and his team uncover an abandoned Decepticon laboratory on Earth, only to find a dying seekerlet locked in its depths.
And thus, Starscream is no longer a myth.

This is a fanfic for one of my favourite fic, where Megatron from another universe (claimed to finally ended the war after Starscream’s death) was obsessed with his Starscream and kidnapped Starscream from another universe to satisfied his time-wrecked obsession turned into possession.
What if Megatron pulled out a totally off track Starscream? Shatter Glass universe’s Starscream? The one’s spark that was the key to wake up the Titan but was being yanked off the chamber by Gold Bug.
What if Megatron had accidentally pulled Starscream out of that inevitable death right before the second it come?
