Having escaped the Dolomites and survived the flights (and drives) towards safe ground, there’s one thing that Alan and Ellie desperately want to do - reunite.

As Ellie listens to the noise of the hotel staff, the elevator lowering to the ground floor, and the city’s life outside, a weight eases from her shoulders. It took a chartered flight and a cab to get them from the Dolomites to the safety of a hotel, a temporary stay until they can return home. A deluxe suite on BioSyn’s dime has made the whole ordeal a little less traumatic.
The man by her side has certainly helped.
