Summary
He's dead. Jumin's best friend has just been shot dead, and now everyone has left the funeral except Jumin. The sun was shining. A mockery of the overwhelming sorrow he feels in his heart. Alone at the grave, Jumin sits quietly.
20 years had passed. They could've had more. But it was too late. Jumin couldn't take it anymore. He cried. His lips touch the cold stone, landing on the picture of Jihyun, right on the lips. So cold and so lifeless.
"I should've kissed you anyway. Maybe it could've been worth it... ruining our friendship. I love you, Jihyun..."

Summary
"Celine, did you kill my parents?" Celine doesn't answer. "... Why did you kill my mother, Celine?" Rumi asks, her voice breaking and desperate as she realised the woman in front of her whom she looked up to and saw as a mother figure, was the one who killed her parents.
Why did she do this? Was being a hunter more important to Celine than her own friend/family? How could Celine live on and raise her as if she didn't do such a thing?
The thing is, it does eat into Celine's mind. She feels regret but not quite as much as everyone thinks. She knows she did what was right. How could she let her sister get corrupted by a demon? They have a half-demon child! A child that will carry the blood of the very thing hunters exist for. Rumi, oh, she does love her but not the part of her demon self. She can't love what she's meant to destroy.

V appreciated Jumin on a deeper level than just trust and respect. He wasn’t sure if there was a word for it, he just felt... connected to Jumin, like an invisible string tethered the two of them and granted each other access into the other’s deepest, darkest, most innermost thoughts.
