Summary
By some fucking miracle, Johnny finds himself back in a living, breathing body: a perfect clone to his old one. And V is no longer dying either. Though Johnny hasn't got a fucking clue how V managed to make this all possible. All he know is that V is being weird as fuck, and it's probably got everything to do with what happened during the time he was back on that chip. And he himself is being weird too, because even though he keeps trying, he cannot go back to his old way of life. Instead, he feels bored, and maybe even lonely, spending his days in his own apartment, far away from V and whatever the fuck he does all day. But at some point, secrets always start to emerge; for better or for worse.

Summary
During the raid on Arasaka tower to reach Mikoshi, V learns that Arasaka kept Johnny's body in a cryogenic freeze for a half-century. After Mikoshi, Johnny gets his body and his life back, but V is still dying from the aftereffects of the Relic.
The two of them set out on a road trip to save V's life, which forces them to come to terms with feelings V would rather pretend don't exist.

Summary
In Mikoshi, V makes a choice few people could make: he lets Johnny keep his body and leaves with Alt past the Blackwall. Johnny is left picking up the pieces of a life he didn’t think he’d get and trying not to resent V for his sacrifice.
When Rogue discovers Johnny’s body in an Arasaka facility, frozen in cryogenic sleep and still viable, Johnny makes the mad dash to pull V back from beyond the Blackwall before it’s too late, before everything that makes V who he is is gone.
Even when they are both back in their bodies, nothing is simple. The path to saving V’s life leads them beyond the borders of the city and out toward a past V thought he left behind him.

Summary
Memories flow through him, warm smiles, a young girl laughing, the sound of an engine, excitement, curiosity, wonder. Running on a beach, once, the salty smell of water, the grains of sand between his toes. Waves crashing lazily on the shore in a slow rhythm, the warm light of the sun carressing his face, and then slapping him hard, red skin, burning and frustration, his features feeling tight and dry, cells flaking off his forehead, a cold, wet towel patting his face and soft hands applying lotion.
It's faded and blurry but it's his, his memory to treasure and cherish and showcase in glass. He hasn't thought about it in years, since before everything, before Jackie, before things got out of control and Night City swallowed him whole.
“Wanna go to the beach,” he says without opening his eyes. “Swim in the ocean.”
