"However, until then, welcome home.”Or, after the war is over and everything is said and done, Sasuke is terrified of getting dragged back to Konoha and prays for things to be different. The next time he opens his eyes, he’s a hundred years in the past—surrounded by kin and, most importantly, Madara Uchiha.

From the Valisthea Herald, Volume 341, Issue 11 [November XXXX]: Breaking: Discovery in Mist Breathes Life into Legends. The buried remains of two individuals were excavated today in Mist, just kilometers away from the coast of Port Isolde. Preliminary carbon dating suggested that the bodies were buried after Valisthea’s Great Awakening, however, one of the bodies showed that the lithification disease - colloquially referred to as “the Crystal’s Curse” in historical records - had impacted one of the deceased. Included at the grave site was a book bound in behemoth leather, hand-tied, on whose title page was written “Final Fantasy”.

Hashirama is bawling in a pregnant Mito’s arms, Izuna is teary-eyed, Tobirama looks done with life as he hands him a handkerchief, and down below, the villagers throw petals in the air in celebration.
Kurama, the backstabbing fox, sits atop his shrine altar, in a shrunken form, and looks smug as hell.

Sakura gets sent careening into the Warring States Era due to a Uzushio ruin seal and decides to make it everyone else's problem.
Somehow, along the way, Uchiha Freaking Madara decides he likes the way she shatters the earth with her fist and demands she marry him.
