Jin Zixuan delicately grasped the skeletal hand once again. It twitched.
“Ew, why are you holding my hand, Peacock? Gross!”
Jin Zixuan leapt back, accidentally ripping the arm from its socket. Adrenaline coursed through him as he took in the horrifying sight before him. Wei Wuxian was dead, and yet, he was sitting up, scowling at the empty socket in his shoulder. “You took my arm.”
Jin Zixuan scoffed, roughly handing the arm back. “You’re a conscious corpse—that’s impossible.”
Wei Wuxian smirked. As he popped the arm back into its socket, he said, “As you can see, clearly it’s not. Also, I’m glad you’re finally starting to appreciate my shijie, but that confession was awful.”

The Wen decide to take over the world through MARRIAGE. To protect JYL from the Wen, JZX agrees to marry her but realizes he loves JYL a week before their wedding, panics, and gets dragged into the underworld by WWX, who's taking this awkward romance into his own hands.
