Showing how these small changes will impact Westeros and reshape the North. Boltons are loyal to the Starks and that changes everything.

Summary
Gabrielle Delacour was saved from the Black Lake by none other than Britain's notorious Harry Potter. Rather than put the boy on a pedestal, the precocious French witch becomes his pen pal, his friend, and then more.
The initial idea was to have the least creepy Gabrielle/Harry story I could, without wildly changing ages or anything. I've read a few fun romance stories with the pairing, but often Gabrielle is aged up or veela shenanigans are story elements.
At first I thought I could keep it tight to canon, but the truth is that as soon as Harry starts talking to, and trusting, people outside his friend group and Dumbledore, things deviate. Not to the extent of my other stories though.
All content is letters between Harry and Gabrielle. Communications mentioned but not shown between these two and other characters are left to the reader's imagination. Some letters between the two are skipped as well, usually for narrative purposes.
'Correspondants' is French for Pen Pals (according to the internet).

Realizing she has chosen the wrong champion, she abandons Stannis to the chaos of darkness, leaving him to his fate. At dawn, the King discovers his most loyal ally has betrayed him, and the Baratheon brothers are forced to clash army against army, with Robert's crown as reward to the victor.
A year has passed since that day.
Now, King Renly of House Baratheon sits upon the Iron Throne, with a court of flowers and extravagance.
In the North, King Robb of House Stark slowly struggles to rebuild the ruins of his home and family, trying to keep the pack together.
