Summary
The Kraang are ready. Their plan to take over Earth has been running smoothly for centuries, and they only have the final steps of their plan left to finally gain their second home... Until the turtles come around. No matter what they do, they can't seem to defeat them. The mutants knock down every tower they build and all the progress they make, and now the Kraang are getting desperate.
But they have the technology, the interdimensional portals, and the mind control devices... and so they hatch a plan. It's a plan that cannot possibly fail. After all, who would be better to defeat the turtles than the turtles themselves?

Donatello Hamato knew he was the weak link, an ugly mark on his family's portrait. It's why he pours himself into his technology; he provides, so they keep him around. They don't need him, they need his creations, his projects, yet he needs them desperately. He loves his family more than life itself. He'll do anything, hide anything, to stay with them and preserve their happiness. Or at least that was the plan before his mystic powers began manifesting in unexpected (and pretty annoying) ways.
He just needs to hold it together; following a path of unpredictable destruction is worth the love of his brothers and he'll come out the other side just fine.

They were approaching the venue, the limo slowing to a crawl as it joined the caravan of expensive cars that were being allowed through the blockade to the show.
Blue had begged to come. His sons loved fashion, and he loved to encourage them; but outside of a very carefully curated couple of interviews with Miss O’Neil, and a couple of other articles, they had not been out in the frenzy of media attention as their father had.
He and Sal had made very sure of that.
