“So get married,” Sirius says calmly, his scent giving absolutely nothing away as he turns towards him and stretches his arm out along the top of the sofa, arching a brow when Remus just gapes at him.
“To fucking who?” he asks, giving him a baffled look as he throws his hands up in the air. “Am I supposed to track down the man who knocked me up, whose name and appearance I don’t know, and ask if he wants a husband? Take out an advertisement in the Prophet, perhaps?”
Sirius gives him a flat look, tonguing the inside of his cheek before he looks away, eyes focusing on the wall next to the fireplace. “You could marry me.”
When Remus finds himself pregnant after a one night stand he knows that he won't be able to keep his baby, no matter how much he wants them, due to the Ministry's draconian laws against werewolves. Luckily, his best friend has a solution...

Summary
James Potter prided himself on his observation skills; he was always the first to figure out his friends’ secrets, no matter how hard they tried to hide them. This is what made his inability to unravel the minds of Sirius and Remus that much more frustrating. But sometimes all you need is a little alcohol, a childish game and a push in the right direction to help you put together the last missing pieces.
