The boy inhaled slightly, releasing the tension from his body as he decided to focus on the one person he wanted to sing to, not the rest of the sea of eyes watching him.
'But if I didn't say it, well, I'd still have felt it

Keith’s eyes scoured the sea of figures before finally focusing on the mop of brown hair facing away from where he stood. Next to Lance, Allura held his arm and laughed alongside him creating their little bubble among the swarm of people. -

The door though, was something that unsettled him the most. Opening and shutting it to 40 seemed excessive and the small creak of the hinges was unnerving.
Eventually I had to tell him that if he kept opening the door,
we'd have a whole bunch of house intruders“Keith, if you keep doing that to the doors, don’t you think we will have like intruders or something?” Lance sat up and pulled Keith into his side, holding him close and burying his face into the inky locks.

Summary
After arriving back to Earth, things changed. people got together and others tried to disappear. Keith loves Lance but Lance likes Allura.
After a mission goes wrong, it spirals Keith into a void of pain and depression, causing him to believe that everything would be better if no one remembered him.
“Shiro and the others are on their way, stay down there. I don’t think you will be able to get the both of you back up there safely. I don’t want you getting hurt.” She smiled softly at Lance, a blush creeping up on her cheeks.
Keith noticed this and frowned again, turning his head to Lance to see his reaction. He was blushing too, scratching the back of his neck. An action he only does when flustered or shy.
“She takes everything I want.” Keith mumbled to himself, not knowing if Lance had heard what he said.

Keith goes to comfort Lance about Allura's death. But Lance miss understands what he is trying to say and ends up having to comfort lance instead.

Keith has an abusive father and a stepmother who are hardly ever around. Even if his stepmother is around she doesn't care for Keith much.
Keith doesn't like to talk about the abuse so he keeps quiet. The only person who knows is his best friend, Shiro.Keith prefers to keep to himself and only talks to Shiro, but that changes when Shiro drags Keith along to a group get-together and Lance gets curious.
Rated PG-14: Language, sexual content ( subtle, no smut)
