Summary
Things have never been easy for the Animorphs, and for Rachel and Tobias, that had been doubly true as of late. They needed a break. Either a lucky break where they finally get an edge over the Yeerks in their desperate war, or even just a vacation. They'd settle for either at this point. Ingo always felt like an outsider in Hisui. And he was one, in many ways. He spoke differently from the people around him, dressed differently from them, THOUGHT differently from everyone. It was isolating, especially with the echoes of his old hoving at the back of his mind despite it remaining a mystery to him. Maybe, if he could find a way to recover them fully, he could finally make peace with them. He could finally let his past go and accept his new one in the Pearl Clan. But nothing he's tried has worked so far and he's struggling.
