    Bruce didn't look up from the newspaper, "I thought you liked Clark."

    “It's not for Clark. It's for his clone. "

    "What did Conner do?"

    "He hasn't done something yet - Selina specified. - But it's better to be prepared. "

    "I guess Lex might still have a device to control him..."

    She laughed, “Oh dear, Lex is not my concern. Did you not notice it? "

    At that point, Bruce lowered the newspaper and looked at her questioningly, "What should I have known?"

    She stifled a laugh. Ah, men. Even the most obvious things escaped him. It was probably a hundred times worse for this man, considering how emotionally broken he was.

    But no problem, they were working on it.

    "Dear, didn't you wonder why he comes to the Manor so often?"

    Selina is still new to the whole parenting thing, but she's doing her best. Alfred would like to disagree.

    Bruce was petrified. What could he answer? No, you can't, I'm working on a very important case that could get Sionis arrested.

    But Dick had come to him for comfort, he trusted Bruce to put everything aside and calm him. Like a parent.

    Where Bruce is still new to the whole parenting thing and Alfred found a surefire way to get him to go to sleep: send his children.

    Apart from the irritation at being ignored by the little punk, the sentence brought Dick to attention. Who the hell had picked up Bruce off the street?

    "Do you want to kill Superman?"

    "Did I stutter?"
