TL;DR - Cypher Blackwell wakes up in the body of a less-than-decent guy outside Night City. He gets random tech knowledge every 3 days. The story revolves around Cypher working on these techs, leaving a mark on the world, and, of course, having some fun with a few kind ladies.- Language:

Summary
In this story, Shroud's bullet kills Courtney, before Robert can do anything to Shroud for payback, a blinding white light suddenly appears and blinds everyone. Robert is then sent back to 4 months ago when he was still alone with all his memories intact. Robert at first though he was dreaming, or hallucinating or having a nightmare, anything to explain what had just happened.
Robert now realises he has been given a chance to change things and to save Courtney. However, changing to much or the wrong thing and his current day gets reset by the same blinding light from before (which he will figure out eventually after many fail attempts). Robert must navigate his past to save his future and Courtney.
Robert doesn't know why or how this happened, all he knows is that with knowledge of events to come. He has been given a do over.
