He tries not to sound too accusing because it's not the man's fault that they're currently several metres underground but by Archons, he feels like he wants to bash his head against the wall. This is not how he expected his week to be like.
"Yep." The man replies. For someone who is trapped underground, the stranger seems awfully casual about it.

After successfully obtaining the Electro Gnosis for himself, Scaramouche deserts the Fatui and flees from Inazuma. On his way to Sumeru, aware that the Fatui will soon come to dispose of him, he obscures himself within the wide plains of the Sumeru desert, at least until he establishes contact with the Doctor. There, he meets a strange desert boy with the most captivating green eyes he's ever seen.
