She disappears inside and Hyunjin turns back toward the grove, just in time to see Changbin’s older sister slicing lemons, and Changbin, his personal demon in a tank top, squeezing them into a large container.
The press of his palms. The twitch of his biceps. The way the veins rise in his arms. The sun catching the sweat down his back.
Hyunjin stares.
𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘴.
He’s not even being subtle anymore. Because all he can see—𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘦—is Changbin on all fours, gripping the bedsheets, muscles trembling, breathy and wrecked and whispering Hyunjin’s name like a prayer. Like he’ll fall apart without it.
Hyunjin reaches for his barley tea.
It’s gone.
Of course it’s gone.
