Summary
Harry Potter died at the gates of Hogwarts after a month of brutal torture. Severus Snape watched him fall. The Order saw the body. The world is in mourning.
However, in the Twilight between life and death, Harry made a choice. To save his father from a grief that would destroy him, and to ensure the safety of his his friends and family from Voldemort, Harry returns to cage the scattered fragments of the Dark Lord’s soul.
He returns not as the Boy Who Lived, but as an injured transfer student from Durmstrang with a tremor in his hands and a darkness in his magical core. Summary
Harry Potter truly didn’t think that he could have a worse birthday after the Dobby incident last year, but it seemed that fate was yet again determined to prove him wrong. I do know there are themes and parts of this story that may seem like I should be "cancelled", but also keep in mind that I started writing this story 17 years ago when I was only 18, and finished it approximately 5-6 years ago at age 30. The world was a different place, and I have learned and matured. I have been working on a full edit for a long time now.
