Summary
Luke is gently encouraged by his sister to take a week off from working on rebuilding the Jedi Order from scratch on an Outer-Rim planet with only R2D2 by his side. She and Sabé send him to Naboo to enjoy the quiet and peaceful lakeside with the promise of his family joining him in a few days. With no urgent Jedi business keeping Luke from the trip, he goes and settles in for a long, uneventful trip.
Din Djarin and Grogu are similarly ordered by Colonel Ward to also go take a vacation on Naboo after their most recent mission for the New Republic. The Mandalorian is a bit wary of the peacful planet at first, but certainly Grogu can't find too much trouble in their time there at a lakeside hotel.

Summary
Luke Skywalker was, despite what his sister occasionally implied, a grown man. He knew what a crush felt like, unfortunate and inappropriate as it was. He was self aware enough to recognize his own feelings. It wasn't anything new
What was new, however, was that, for the first time in twenty-nine standard years, he'd found himself in the mortifying position of having no sithing idea how object of his affections felt about him at all.
And that, he’d eventually come to realize in the worst possible way, was something he was fundamentally unequipped to handle, let alone survive.
Five years after the war, Luke Skywalker is perfectly well adjusted, thank you very much. Sure, he's plagued by the chronic aftereffects of his injuries from Death Star 2, he's being run ragged by a fifty year old toddler, and he might harbor some inappropriate feelings for his padawan's father — who now also happens to be his roommate. But he's fine.
The whole coughing up flower petals thing is new and a little weird, but it certainly isn't anything super dangerous.
...Right?

Summary
“Din Djarin, the Once and Future King,” Luke declared, his voice somehow ringing through Din’s head rather than through his ears. It sounded as though another voice spoke over Luke’s own. This man was Luke Skywalker, and yet, was not. “You wield the Darksaber, won in honorable combat, as Kings of Mandalore before you. The Force commands you to seek the Child and save it from its doom, and in doing so, will save the galaxy and reunite your people under your banner. Do you accept your quest?”
The Force delivers a dire prophecy to Din Djarin, demanding he take his rightful place as the king of his people. With the help of the last Jedi, he must gather his closest allies and prevent the worst to come.

Summary
Admittedly, this is not the first time Luke has wound up at someone else’s kitchen table in someone else’s clothes. But it’s not breakfast, Luke’s not an undergrad scarfing down bacon and eggs to cure the common hangover, and Din doesn’t strike him as the kind of guy he’d meet at a house party. The baby is definitely a first.
Luke is a grad student trying to finish his linguistics PhD after an unexpected leave of absence. His neighbor, Din, is a single dad and delivery guy at Pizza Parsec.
(Actually, Pizza Parsec is just a front for the bounty hunters' guild. But Luke doesn't need to know that.)

Leia is helpless to watch as Senator Almen continues on as though nothing is wrong. “Mand’alor, may I introduce you to Senator Organa’s brother, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker.”
She can feel all of her hard work crumbling, whatever trust she had formed with the Mandalorians shattering before her as the Mand’alor slowly stands to his feet.
Great, she thinks numbly, Another galactic war on my hands.
(Leia Organa has never been one to back down from a challenge. Although advising the new Mand’alor in his introduction to the Senate and also trying to keep her Jedi brother from causing an intergalactic incident could prove to be a bigger challenge than expected.)
