He shrugged. “Nothing, really.”
For a moment she studies him, then smiles and smooths his hair back like he’s still a little kid. “Good,” she says softly. “You’re learning.”
Yuuji doesn’t answer. He just stands there and lets her touch him, staring past her shoulder at the drying blood staining his hands, like rust sinking into metal.
Sick. He felt sick.

Anakin and Obi-Wan woke up weeks before the beginning of the Clone Wars with memories of the next seven years. While they still struggle to accept both what they’ve done and what was done to them, they’ve started on the road to healing and atonement.
Now, they begin to plan how to defeat Darth Sidious while reacclimatizing to their lives from before the war. There is still much personal trauma for them to work through as they try to deal with their past and prepare for their future. But, as long as they have each other, nothing is insurmountable.

Minato could practically hear Sarutobi laughing at him now, as he looked at his new students. He must’ve gotten a great laugh while assigning this generation’s teams. As they started to bicker, Minato could already feel a headache coming on.
He could decimate hundreds of enemies and yet a trio of children somehow have him mentally falling to his knees in despair.
“No,” Kakashi said, his voice muffled between his legs, “you were supposed to be responsible and tell him not to do it again. If it came from you, he would listen.”
Minato looked at Kakashi and realized how young he truly is, with his head tucked in between his legs to hide his embarrassment and small voice disappointed.
Minato’s eyes softened as Obito laughed victoriously, slumping onto Kakashi’s shoulder, and yeah these were definitely his kids, even if they were brats a lot of the times.
But Minato wouldn’t trade them for the world. Even with the war raging on, even with the world throwing its worst at their feet.
Unfortunately for destiny, Team Minato is filled with the most stubborn people in Konoha. And they were determined to keep their family together, no matter what.

Before Q could rationally think his actions through, he had reassembled the gun and had it loaded in a blink. It was loaded, aimed and ready to fire– even taking the few centimetres it leaned to the left in account.
“You seem to keep forgetting I am the one to have built the weapon you are here to return to TSS. Personally.”
Q lowered the gun and dismantled it just as easily as he had before, laying out the pieces on a tray and picking it up. He had to push past 006 who was still standing in the doorway, his eyes following Q as he moved to carry the tray back to the main workshop area.
“Well? What are you waiting for? I don’t have all night.” Q leaned on the workbench, peering at 006 sharply.
A look of amusement broke through 006’s otherwise stern facade. “Marry me.”
Pausing, Q blinked. “Did you just… Did you just proposition to your superior officer?”
006 nodded, grinning brightly.
“Drop your mission gear onto the workbench and get out of my Branch.” Q ordered, “Before I change my mind and shoot you.”

Namely, his depression and anxiety, the general horror that has been his early to mid childhood, his lost clan history, and right of course, the crazy snake Sannin who keeps calling him things like 'my dear' and a 'pet'.
Yeah, Kakashi is not certain he made the most sound decision but it's made and now it's time to see where it'll take him. He really hopes he won't have to deal with a new discovery about his sexuality or the sudden emergence of a long-thought dead teammate on top of everything else too...
