She hadn’t thought they could have this, and yet, as Gojo shifted his body so she could fit more snugly into the shape of him, it struck Utahime that they had it anyway. She could lie in bed, and know that tomorrow, Gojo would wake early, an extra blanket thrown over her to keep her warm. She could sleep, and her largest worry for the morning would be about how she’d need to make a large breakfast to feed the extra guests in their house.
She could dream, and know that they would be sweet and peaceful, happy and loving, because tomorrow would be another good day.
