“The day had been going normal for Jay so far, normal as his days go that is. The usual schedule was: wake up between 8 and 9, eat some sort of light breakfast, shower if he felt like it. Then try and do some sort of physical activity (not that he wanted to, it hurt like fucking hell, but Tim stressed that it was good for him), then clean and wait for Tim to get home. That was the usual schedule, and dammit did Jay try his hardest to stay on track with it. But today, no, the universe decided to throw him a curveball.
It wasn’t that Jay didn’t like the turn the day took, quite the opposite actually, it was pretty exciting if you asked him. But it still threw a wrench in his plans, something that will disrupt the rest of his routine. He had been out on a small walk, just around the block of the small apartment complex he and Tim lived in now, when a soft gray-orange-and white kitten stumbled out onto the sidewalk in front of him.”
