Summary
Hermione Granger has always been a bleeding heart Griffindor. She never knew when to stop fighting for justice. Even after coming close to being seen while using the Time Turner to save Sirius, she was tempted to undo more wrongs from the past. She was thinking about how she can accomplish this when a freak accident involving Ron's new Owl sends her careening back to 1975. Life in the past shows her that nothing she knew from the future was real. Dumbledore is a manipulative bastard. James Potter and Sirius Black were bullies. Professor Snape and Harry's mom were best friends. Peter Pettigrew was misunderstood. And Sirius had a younger brother who is a rude, snobbish ponce that she can't seem to stop mooning after. Hermione grows up under the roof of her great great grandfather Marius Granger who it turns out was really the ousted squib from the Noble and Ancient House of Black. Together with him, the other blasted off and disgraced Black Family members, Hermione helps usher in a new era of House Black while also handling the minor matter of disposing an evil Dark Lord.

Summary
Harry Potter never actually beat Voldemort, but rather fought him to a standstill while Europe burned around them. Finding himself an unwilling part of a dark ritual to send him back in time twenty years, he is surprised to see how Dumbledore reacts to proof of obvious child abuse (Harry's), how eleven-year-old super genius and Witch Queen in training Hermione reacts to actually having a socially competent friend (Harry), and how much easier it is to shrug off the insults of munchkins when you're a grizzled war veteran.
But there is one huge problem: being sent back blew out his magic entirely. Just waving his wand knocked him out the first time he tried it. Can Hermione help him though his classes even with his magic almost unusable? Will Harry be able to find the secrets to actually killing the Dark Lord and saving his friends from a horrible future without blowing his cover, or even getting mistaken for the Dark Lord himself? Years after the war, Hermione finds herself traveling to Romania to help Charlie track down an unknown species of Dragon that's been sighted in the mountains of the national forest.
While Charlie is looking to capture and relocate the new species to the sanctuary for further research, Hermione's interest is to enforce the laws involving the transportation and exploitation of the creature.
That is, until she comes in contact with the Dragon when no one else has been able to approach it. She finds that there is an almost human intellect to it and it exhibits something akin to emotions.
She soon discovers that the new species is not as it appears and is indeed her past nemesis, Draco Malfoy.
He has been cursed to live out his days as a beast and his nights as a man, forever alone with only his memories to haunt him as he struggles to survive alone in the wilderness.
