    Summary

The bed was comfortable enough, better than whatever his bed was. She sat up and met his gaze with a smile. Soft, dopey, a little tired—the most genuine Flower can do. She leaned her head on his shoulder. He didn’t move. She smelled like marijuana, and an earthy perfume—probably something natural she made, he supposed. “You couldn’t sleep either?” She tilted her head. It reminded him of his horse a little.

“Right you are Flower. I could not.” He smiled back. but it did not come off as proud as he meant it to, probably because of his exhaustion. It was nice to see her lucid like this (lucid enough, anyway.) Issac, by habit, ran a hand through her black locks; picking out a leaf.

She laughed when it zapped back onto her head. And suddenly he remembered just how much he missed his brothers.
