    Summary

“You’re…” His said in disbelief, eroding his fury. “You’re the missing people. The ones from the news. The admins–everyone–”

Builderman’s grip loosened just enough for the man to slump to his knees, panting hard, hair hanging over his eyes. Guest 1337 kept one hand braced on his shoulder in case he lunged again, but the threat was gone for now. The rage had drained straight through the cracks of shock widening across the man’s face.

The suited person he’d been strangling—perfect tie, perfect posture, already smoothing dust from their jacket—stared back with cold distaste, as if nearly being murdered was an inconvenience rather than an emergency.

“Missing people,” Shedletsky repeated under his breath. “Well. That narrows things down to… us.”

The man looked around wildly at the survivors clustered in the main room.

These were faces from missing posters.

    From obituaries.

From forums flooded with grief and confusion and freak theories.

“You’re real,” the man whispered. “You’re all real. You’re alive.”

    aka
Two new people land in the Forsaken realm. Whether to trust them or not, no one knows. But this is their story.

    Summary

"Did you know?" She looks up at him with desperate eyes. "When he gave me to you. When you RAISED me like a real brother would. Did you know I wasn't really his creation?"

Black Sapphire's silence is answer enough.

"You KNEW. You knew and you never TOLD me-"
    "He told me not to-"
"Of COURSE he did! Because the LIE was more USEFUL than the TRUTH!"

Black Sapphire kneels beside her. "Candy Apple, listen to me. It doesn't matter how you were made. What matters is-"

"It matters to ME!" Tears stream down. "My whole LIFE has been about being his special creation! His best work! And now I don't even have THAT! I'm just-I'm just some COOKIE he found in the TRASH!"

    "You're not-"
"How would YOU know?! How would ANYONE know?! Maybe I'm just LYING to myself about being upset! Maybe this whole conversation is FAKE! Maybe I'm not even REAL!"

"Don't do anything reckless," he says carefully. "Whatever you're planning-"

    "I'm not planning anything."

Black Sapphire doesn't believe her. But what can he do?

After PV's awakening, Candy Apple Cookie runs away from home. Shadow Milk has issues, and Black Sapphire is caught in the fray.

    Summary

The wreckage stretched farther than she had first realised. An expanse of detritus and wreckage, and a sea of stone and rubble. That was the sight that met her eyes.

And somewhere beneath all of it was him.

Nutmeg Tiger Cookie turned slowly, her breathing shallow. There was too much. Far too much. Even if she dug without stopping, even if her claws split down to the quick and her muscles gave way, she could spend days clawing through the ruins and still miss him by inches. A single stone could hide him forever. A single buried chamber could become his tomb.

How am I going to search all this before nightfall?

Her gaze darted desperately across the wreckage, trying to calculate where to begin, where to search next, but every pile of debris looked equally impossible. Every mound could be the one covering him. Every moment of silence could mean she had already arrived too late.

For the first time since the collapse, fear truly settled into her bones.

    Not fear of death.

Fear that she would never find him at all.

It was under this enormity that Nutmeg Tiger Cookie, for the first time, began to believe that Burning Spice Cookie was dead.

    Summary

Diva was there. She looked up when Vanity came into the firelight. She looked down at what Vanity was carrying.

“I talked to Teto, to try to gain some insight into the mood you’ve been in recently.”

Vanity set her burden down across from the fire. Sat beside it. Looked at Diva across the flames with the same flat patience she brought to everything. Diva only turned slightly, narrowing her eyes at her.

“I think if you asked her real nicely, she’d stop having a good time in front of you if it meant she died less, but we all know you aren’t going to do that," Vanity said, casually.

Diva was looking at her, mouth pressed into a thin line. The shadows that cast over her face made it hard to see what she was thinking..

"I thought you'd want to know," Vanity continued. "Since you can't ask her yourself anymore tonight. He said mine was the last round tonight." She reached out and pat her hand on the bundle with a proprietariness that made the firelight feel colder. "I'm going to eat well."

    The fire crackled.

"You're welcome to sit with me today," Vanity said, "if you want company. I’m in a good mood now that I don’t have to listen to your whining.”

    Summary

On the road ahead surely will be friends dear and true: throughout the land is there anyone who knows not you?

Frieren stood at the entrance to the town square. Behind her, the afternoon light was doing something pleasant with the fountain, and a few children had gathered at a cautious distance to stare at her ears.

"And so," the elder concluded, with the gravity of a man delivering a eulogy, "we ask that you accept this meal, and this lodging, and the eternal thanks of our village. We will tell our children of the great mage Frieren, who came from the north and saved us without asking for a single coin."

"I did ask for a grimoire," Frieren said. "Your mayor gave it to me. It keeps both sides of my pillow cold now."

    A brief silence.

"We will tell our children," the elder continued, with admirable composure, "of the great mage Frieren."

She had not sought any of this out. She had simply been walking, as she always was, and the world had kept turning around her, and people had kept remembering. She did not know what to do with that, precisely. She had never been good at knowing what to do with being known.

Himmel had been extraordinary at it.

    Summary

May we all live long, and share the beautiful moonlight even when far apart.

    Himmel had liked the moon.

This was the kind of thing she had not known about him until much later, after there was no longer any chance to confirm it. She had been sorting through memories one quiet evening, the way she sometimes did, pulling them out and examining them the way a scholar examines old texts, and she had surfaced one from somewhere in their third year of traveling together.

It's strange, he had said. Everyone under it sees the same thing. All across the continent, right now, someone is looking at this exact moon.

She had not answered. She remembered thinking it was a fairly ordinary observation. The moon was simply the moon. It did not seem strange to her that it was large enough to be seen by many people at once. She had not understood what he meant. She was not sure she had even tried to.

And side by side, yet continents apart, the moon and Frieren shared the same passage of time.

She was still here. They were not. And yet.

    The same moon.

    Summary

"Is that a threat?" Diva said, still smiling, the smile sitting perfectly on the porcelain. "How novel."

"It's context," Vanity said. "I'm a cannibal. Did you know that? It's not a metaphor. It's not a personality. It's just a thing that's true about me."

She gestured aimlessly with her cleaver. "I'm telling you because I think it's relevant."

    Summary

007n7 was not happy. Not even close.

Shedletsky confesses to creating a killer, not just any killer, but 1x? The most bloodthirsty, most murderous, most catastrophic killer in the game…

    And everyone just…accepts it?

He couldn’t stop staring at the group. At the way Elliot—kind, compassionate Elliot didn’t even look angry. Not with the cold disgust he saved for n7.

    And it hurt.

    Shedletsky was forgiven, and 007n7?

One wrong moment. History he couldn’t rewrite. One sin he carried every day of his life.

    His c00lgui.

A single mention of c00lkidd and suddenly he's back to being the villain everyone avoids.

He knew he shouldn’t think like this. He knew Shedletsky was suffering. And yet—the thought dug its claws into him anyway:

Why does he get comfort when I don’t?

“A special round will commence: all killers present, a 24-hour timer, and one choice. Select the killer you intend to eliminate. If you succeed, every survivor still standing when the timer ends will earn their freedom.”

What lengths will the survivors go to achieve freedom?

    Summary

Today marked three years, seven months, and twenty-eight days since Morax’s death to his people.

And exactly one day since Focalors’ death.

That had been when he had his first dangerous thought.

Would the Heavenly Principles notice if he died?

They had lost faith in him, and somewhere along the way, he had lost faith in himself too.

Yet, as the wind wrapped around him in a final embrace, Venti found that he felt no regret. His nation had lost faith in their god, and he had lost faith in himself. Perhaps this was the only true way to honor them, to free them from a god who had forgotten what it meant to be free.

He stepped forward, off the cliff, feeling the wind rush past him as he fell. His body plummeted through the air, and in those final moments, he thought of Mondstadt—the city he had loved, the people he had cherished. He thought of his friends, those who had come and gone, and the Nameless Bard who had taught him what it meant to sing with joy, to live with a heart full of freedom. Would anyone notice that their god died today?

    Summary

    “Happy Holidays. Enjoy your break.”

The timer spins rapidly, resetting at 24:00:00

    1 day.

The sudden teleportation sound triggered in front of 1x, manifesting in purple.
    He knew that sound.
    He hated that sound.

    “IT’S T!111111111111111111111111111ME!”

Noli materialized inches from 1x’s face, upside-down, Void Star humming obnoxiously loud in their face. A familiar christmas jingle began to play directly in 1x’s metaphorical ears. Noli grinned deviously, tilting his head in mocking.

1x recoiled a full three steps.

“NO. No, no, no. Go away.”

Noli did a little orbit around him. In a blink, a green and red present with hints of black glitter teleported straight into his hand.

“L000-K-K WH0’s got a [PRESENT]!” The insufferable deity shook the box at 1x with a little jingle.

    “Stop.” 1x’s voice went flat.

“AWWW, K!LLJ0Y!” Noli exclaimed gleefully. Noli instead opted to shoving the gift into his hands.

    “MARIAH K-K-CAREY W1SHES y-y-ou [HAPPY CHR1STMAS]!”
