“If my Stand has a crush on my best friend's Stand does that mean I'm gay this isn't about me though I'm asking for a friend!” Josuke manages to scream into the receiver.
What follows is a long, painful stretch of silence. The plastic grows hot in Josuke's sweaty hands, and he feels his lip starting to split between his teeth, iron blooming across his tongue just like the regret in his gut.
“...Good grief,” Jotaro's staticky voice replies after far too much time. “I thought you were in danger.”
Crazy Diamond can't ask for it. Josuke doesn’t want to admit it. And, of course, Okuyasu and The Hand are the cause of everything, not that either of them know that. It might take a miracle to get them together... or maybe a new Stand user will do just as well.

Summary
Kakyoin couldn’t help the smile that broke across his face when he saw Jotaro standing on the dock, scowling and serious as ever. They’d stayed in contact, of course - as much as anyone can really stay in contact with Jotaro Kujo. Phone calls, mostly, and visits when their chaotic schedules happened to align. Between their respective work with the Speedwagon Foundation and Jotaro’s research, these visits weren’t as frequent as Kakyoin would have liked, but he took what he could get, especially now that Jotaro had, like… an ex-wife and a child and shit.
Kakyoin tried not to think about that one too much. A child was one thing - and from what he’d heard, Jolyne was a good kid - but her existence combined with Jotaro’s ex-wife’s did sort of point towards Jotaro’s heterosexual tendencies in a way Kakyoin was still not prepared to process.
Sure, he was a little bit in love with his straight best friend. So what? That’s just standard gay behavior.

Kakyoin comes to Morioh to help with some stand bullshit. Jotaro's still sorting himself out. Unfortunately, Rohan is there too.

He wasn’t sure if he thought this through when Danma pulled him close, taking Aguni’s hand and placing it at his waist. Their other hands were joined. Aguni swallowed. “Now you lead,” Danma whispered, oh so close to his ear.Aguni only choked out a raspy “Okay.” and somehow that made Danma chuckle.

They're sweetheart idiots, Danma pretends to be a pretty convincing iceberg, sits in Aguni's lap during an executive meeting, gets flowers, is not subtle, doesn't get stuck in a vending machine and more.Or: 10 times Aguni went along with one of Danma's 'crazy' ideas +1 time Aguni was the one with the crazy idea instead.

Summary
When Jotaro kisses him for the first time, in their hotel room near the Saudi Arabian desert, Kakyoin doesn’t even register it as a kiss.
Later, when Kakyoin and Jotaro are alone in the latter’s room for the first time since Kakyoin was discharged from the hospital, Jotaro cups his jaw and swoops in, and Kakyoin loses his voice.
Further on, when Kakyoin is considering putting his book away and getting ready for bed, Jotaro enters their bedroom with a soft groan, crawls into the space next to Kakyoin, and meets him halfway when Kakyoin leans in.

"Meeting Rohan Kishibe was similar to sitting through a film adaptation of a good book. You watch in horror as Hollywood takes a story with a very establish plot and completely surpasses your expectations with how badly they ruin it. It was impressive really, how quickly Rohan was able to kill a conversation. Kakyoin had been enthusiastic about his manga, asking questions about his plot and characters and creative writing process. But dear lord, talking to that man was like having a conversation with a brick wall. And yeah, that sucks, but Kakyoin wouldn’t take it personally. Not if he was like that to everybody. But no, Rohan was most certainly not like that with everybody.
So here Kakyoin was, watching in utter shock as a man who had just brushed past all of his question with the blankest expression he’d ever seen on a human, leaned across the table with an easy smile to spout nonsense about the cafe they were seated in. To Jotaro. Not to the table, to Jotaro."
Or, Rohan wants Jotaro REAL bad and Kakyoin is sick of his shit.
