When Yellow met Blue... he didn't even know it, yet. Even though he longed for it so terribly. So much so, he's already gone and launched himself clean off the flower castle trying to rush to get to him before meeting any of the others! He's pretty sure this is just a real bee in his proverbial bonnet. If he had a bonnet.
All he has is his normal hat, and a lonesome cowboys dream to meet the beautiful Blue Flower he first fell in love with as a flower already. It's just his luck that fate sends a lucky wishin' star through the sky to meet him... in the form of the first time he meets Mr. Butterfly.
Or, rather. The first time he meets Blue, and Blue/Mr. Butterfly learns that Yellow really would fall in love with him no matter how he happened to look during the night of this dream.
Just think of it as a little scene around the edges of a mid festivals-night dream, about two dramatic goofs who fell in love at first sight.
