Summary
Like a king in his castle he strode back to the microphone, unfolding the paper and hesitated for a moment when he read the name, as if he wasn’t sure how to pronounce it. The whole crowd seemed frozen in time until Richard finally spoke.
“Blue Sargent.”, he read out loud and a murmur rolled through the people of district 12. Adam turned his head to the oldest girls still in the game, where a small girl already stepped out of her area. She wore a dress that looked like it had once been at least four dresses, her dark, spikey hair pushed down to her head with a ribbon, as blue as her name.
“Now, for the boys.”, Richard said and stepped over to the left ball. Adam’s stomach turned, the sting in his chest grew colder. Richard's hand dove into the glass ball, dug around a few times for good measure until he brought it back up, holding a neatly folded piece of paper.
“Adam Parrish.”, Richard announced gleefully

Ich hoffe, mein Wichtel hat kein Problem mit 2nd pov, ich wollte das mal ausprobieren.Titel stammt aus dem Fall Out Boy Titel "Last of the real ones" und basiert damit ein bisschen auf Grifs "Prompt", dass Neptune einen Crush auf Sun hat.

Adam was usually too busy being a nerd about useless information to notice. Today he was too busy staring out the window and tapping the end of his pencil against his lower lip, probably fighting the urge to chew on the already deformed little eraser attached to it. Ronan had never caught him chewing on his pencil during class and he was sure that no one else at Aglionby had.
Suddenly, Ronan realized what was off: Adam wasn’t paying attention to their teacher. He rather stared into the rain like he wondered if his parents’ trailer would make a good boat and they’d have sailed off by the time he got home today.

Basically it's an episode of H2O - Just add water in the middle of Henrietta and starring a boy who simply doesn't have the time for this shit. I blame this work on my friend Ritsu entirely, as she picked the Merman-AU for me to write.
