Summary
A peaceful start to the school year and a blooming youthful romance is thrown off the rails when Atsushi Nakajima abruptly realizes none of them are supposed to be there. Certain that he's actually a detective from Yokohama, Atsushi sets out to bring everyone back home.
If he's right, all he has to do is make sure that the mysterious entity known only by 'y/n' gets her supposed 'happy ending' --- which appears to be with either him or Akutagawa of all people -- by the time of the Senior Dance. However, as he finds himself living out the type of life he never had before, complicated emotions begin to get in the way, especially when Akutagawa isn't exactly cooperating.
Between that and the inexplicable appearance of someone who calls himself 'dad', the various perils of the coffee-shop run by a certain Osamu Dazai, the sudden attention of a motorcyclist gang known as "The Sheep", what was once a straightforward task starts to become increasingly more difficult.
Can Atsushi reach his former comrades and enemies? Or are they doomed to live as eccentric teachers, wild students, disgruntled family units, and questionable essential workers for the rest of their lives?
