Summary
Hizashi has always been an upbeat cat; vocal, loud, energetic, and always eager to wake up his owner early in the morning for breakfast. Despite his past experiences with a bad owner, he trusts his new one, Nemuri, with his safety and his life. She gives him love, care, food, and water, so why would he need anything else? His life is perfect. But then… Nemuri comes back home with a new cat, and Hizashi has no clue what to do.
Shouta has been a street cat his whole life, constantly avoiding humans because that’s what his mother told him to do before she was taken away. She always told him that humans were monsters, drilling this fact into his brain so many times that any time he caught a glimpse of one in his alleyway, he’d find shelter in another one. He has to be logical and rational to survive, or else he’ll get killed. But once he finds himself injured and freezing to death after a storm, he has no fight in him when human hands pick him off the ground and bring him somewhere new.

Hizashi and Shouta are cats, and Shouta has to adjust to living the life of a housecat while Hizashi has to befriend the most antisocial and aggressive feline he’s ever met.
