This myth of creation has been handed down for many generations of tieflings within the noble House Erbil. It was originally penned by Varuun Erbil II himself to legitimize their claim to nobility.
Disclaimer! This is a creation myth written from the viewpoint of the founder of House Erbil. I am aware that it's not Forgotten Realms lore-accurate, and it isn't trying to be. This is just Varuun the younger trying to legitimize his claim to nobility, as many medieval nobles did by introducing a mythical, immortal being into their bloodline to elevate themselves above everyone else.
