Ayumu was amazing. The way she was so pure, so earnest, in everything she did. It reminded Setsuna of herself, a little. She also threw herself wholely into all she did. But sometimes, she took it too far, and it ruined things, like with the school idol club before Ayumu came. So though part of her wanted to just take hold of Ayumu and never let go, she was also much too scared to. Scared of how it would change things. Scared of how Ayumu would feel about it.
But...maybe that was okay. After all, Ayumu had her fears, but she never let them hold her back. That's what was so amazing about her. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to learn from that. Maybe it was okay to take things slowly. It was like Ayumu always said, one step at a time. Yes, that didn't sound bad at all.
