Never fully understanding why he would suddenly turn his back on her, leaving her to raise their son alone. Summary

Her focus in life is her research and she gets whirled into helping a current ongoing issuing plaguing the muggle and wizarding world. Draco is... Draco; arrogant, dangerous, possessive over things that aren't his. He has also just reentered back into Wizarding London society, and so, through a series of unfortunate events and combined friendship circles, that includes her life and they are both, clearly not excited.
There's a history between the two of them that they refuse to share and acknowledge as much as the underlying tension - or do they? Or will Crookshanks force their hands to it? Slow burn.
