By the time you get this, I’ve most likely passed into the Great Beyond. It’s what I get for working as an Unspeakable, but don’t worry! I loved every minute of it—and honestly, that’s probably a lot more minutes than you realize. If I’m still alive, though, we should have tea tomorrow. Assuming this arrived at its intended time on your 55th birthday.
Harry Potter was supposed to be done.
He had survived Voldemort, the Ministry, the press, several educational disasters, and far too many adults with plans.
Thrown back into 1991 with all his memories intact, Harry decides he has absolutely no intention of following the script. Privet Drive is first on the chopping block. Gringotts is next. After that, he'll need Remus Lupin, Hermione, Ron, and one boa constrictor with delusions of grandeur.
Harry knows the future.
Unfortunately, the future knows how to bite back.

Summary
Harry Potter came to a conclusion in his last week at Hogwarts of his second year: Hogwarts was going to be the death of him. First, Professor Quirrell fused with Voldemort, almost killing him several times in his first year. Then, Dobby several maiming attempts, the diary possessing Ginny and the Basilisk. Did he mention that the diary/Tom Riddle had cursed him before Harry stabbed it?
What would happen in his third year? Entering a deadly tournament against his will? Another professor hating him even more than Snape?
No, thank you.
He would not wait and see what happened next year. And he wasn’t returning to the Muggle world with the Dursleys either. Harry was done with mistreatment and being shoved into being The-Boy-Who-Lived. For once, he was going to choose himself. And if choosing himself meant realising that perhaps he preferred being herself? So be it.

- Trans fic! (Literally in the first chapter Harry starts going by Holly Evans)
- No magic fic! (Blame Tom Riddle’s curse)
- A lot of Narcissa and House Greengrass involvement. Pansy is also there.
